Ohhhhhhhhhhhh baby are we excited for this! What can we really say about Midland? Over the past couple of years, he has been on world domination mode, going from strength to strength, to where he is today, as one of the best and most sought after DJs in the world, he is at the absolute top the industry for a reason though. Midland’s sound blends tribal drums with disco, with techno, with rubbery house, always able to find the sounds out of left field and make them sound deadly familiar on the dancefloor and never pins himself down to one genre. Recently on the production side of things he released quite possibly tune of the millennium in Final Credits, such an unbelievably uplifting track with such a heart breaking set of vocals behind it, the song juxtaposes the two feelings masterfully.
I don’t know a single soul that hasn’t been genuinely touched by it in one way or another. His success may have gone on to the outer stratosphere, but it’s entirely deserved. Midland is one of the truest talents and all round nicest guys we have ever welcomed.
